Breeding
If you are going to breed your Dachshund, please remember that to do so requires research, dedication and a tremendous amount of knowledge and planning.  Dedicated and responsible breeders strived to better their line of dogs by obtaining the dog's championship, testing for genetic problems and making sure their dogs meet the standard that their Country's breed standard requires.  They also exhibit their dogs in events that test the dog's instinct, whether it be go-to-ground or tracking to make sure their dogs not only meet the standard in conformation, but, also have retained their instinctual requirements.
