In 1996 my husband Bryan and I started breeding quality Labradors. We enjoyed many successful years of showing, breeding and loving this breed. When it was time to begin a new era in showing, we chose a smaller breed, the Tibetan Spaniel.

The Tibetan Spaniel, affectionately known as Tibbies, is a very intelligent breed. Although they may be aloof with strangers, they love their humans and are great with other dogs. They are not known to bark a lot but are very alert to their surroundings, making them very good watch dogs. They are not a hyper breed, making it very calm when you have more than one. They love to burrow under blankets and require very little grooming.

Our first puppy we obtained, Mia, was from a friend and breeder in Canada, Sandra and Donald Bingley of Sandon Kennels. Mia's parents finished their championships quickly and Mia followed in their paw prints with her very impressive wins at such a young age. At 10 months, Mia obtained 13 points and both of her majors and a month later, at 11 months she obtained her championship. The following October, she became a Grand Champion. Mia is perfect in temperament and personality and as our foundation bitch, she is the proud Dam of six American Champions. Now, at the age of five, and having done major accomplishments in the breed ring, Mia is retired and loves doing obedience and agility.

The Tibetan has stolen our heart and we are now a successful AKC Breeder of Merit and exhibitor of the wonderful Tibbie, the Tibetan Spaniel.
